Welcome to Selah – with me. Although the Hebrew word ‘Selah’ – said to occur 71 times in 39 of the Psalms (and 3 times in the book of Habakkuk) – is somewhat ambiguous in meaning, well-accepted understandings include ‘to pause and reflect’ and ‘to lift up’ (voices and/or instruments I believe).

These last days are such tumultuous times, how quickly things can change and seasons alter and yet what immeasurable grace that believers in Yeshua are enabled to know that the One True God – the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God Israel, the God and Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah – never changes.  It is a wonderful thing that God has given those who believe Him the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, to be with us always and to truly know that however many are the trials and tribulations of this life His grace to us and in us and for us IS sufficient. All praises, glory and honour belong to Yeshua the Messiah who is Lord through whom we have this grace.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 in the Holy Bible says this:

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, The Father of mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may  be able to comfort those who are in any trouble,  with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.’

This is what ‘Selah – with me’ seeks to do in thanksgiving to the heavenly Father for His immeasurable grace with which I continue to be comforted with. This site is intended for women and all who contribute posts are women believers and disciples of Yeshua/Jesus, saved by the grace of God through faith in Him and hold the Holy Scriptures/The Holy Bible alone to be the word of God as declared by 2 Timothy 3:16-17. To Almighty God belongs all glory through Lord Yeshua the Messiah.

Amen.
