A Word for the Unsaved!

Have you ever read and seriously considered these words of Yeshua the Messiah recorded at Luke 13:1-5? I urge you, if you are among those who this day do not know that they saved yet hold on to some notion that they will attain to Heaven when they die, consider the words of Lord Yeshua in following passage:

There were present at that season some who told Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answered and said to them, “Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things?  I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.  Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.

In this passage, we can see that the people in the Lord’s day considered that the early deaths of some people were because they had been particularly sinful in some and since they continued to live, they were okay. The word’s which came to mind as I thought about those around the Lord then, ‘yes, but what about you?!’

The Lord teaches very clearly in this passage, and many other places in Scriptures, that all sinners – “the good, the bad and the ugly” – who refuse to repent and receive Him in faith for rescue from their sins will perish! This is a word to the unsaved – do you really realise this?

God is giving you time to repent by sustaining your life, even while you are in your sins.  He gives time to repent and does all that necessary for us to believe upon the Lord Yeshua, to the saving of our souls that we might be rescued from His righteous judgment of sin, on a day which He has appointed.  But there will come a time, when our time is up, that we will be called to appear before Almighty God, either as saved to dwell with Him eternally or lost to dwell in hell and the lake of fire for all eternity too.

I urge you to consider the words of Paul the Apostle’s plea at 2 Corinthians 6:1-2 to those at Corinth in his day, as though he was speaking to you personally today:

We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain.  For He says:
“In an acceptable time I have heard you,
And in the day of salvation I have helped you.”
Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

May whoever who reads –  and does not know that they have been Spirit-born again by grace through faith in Lord Yeshua’s sacrifice for our sins when He was crucified as the Sin-Offering and resurrected from the dead on third day – heed the call to seek Lord Yeshua today! Believe on the Lord Yeshua the Messiah, and you shall be saved! If you would like to know more about the good news of salvation by the grace of God through faith in Lord Yeshua please get in touch and I would be happy to share more from the Bible about this.

Until He comes or calls, Shalom and God bless.
